Water permeability test on concrete containing Integral water proofing compound as per CPWD specification
Analysis of reduction in the coefficient of water permeability in concrete containing integral water proofing compound when compared to controlled concrete(not containing integral water proofing compound) as per DIN 1048 part 5 by carrying out 4 cycles each of 5 bar hydrostatic pressure for 72 hours and drying for 48 hours between the cycles.
The co-efficient of Permeability calculated as per Valenta equation by incorporating penetration values shall be obtained at the end of fourth cycle pressure.
(Reduction in the coefficient of water permeability after four cycles at 5 bar pressure in concrete containing integral water proofing compound when compared to controlled concrete(not containing integral water proofing compound) shall not be less than 90% ).
