Clean tech refers to a process, product, or service that promotes environmental sustainability through significant energy efficiency improvements, sustainable use of resources or environmental protection activities. Clean tech includes a broad range of technologies related to recycling, renewable energy, information technology, green transportation, green chemistry and more. To support Startups and harness innovations in above areas, we are launching CleanEdge Accelerator Program – a startup accelerator program in the area of Environment Sustainability, Waste Management & Renewables. CleanEdge is designed to help young businesses scale up quickly and is backed by large global companies, technical experts, and marquee investors. CleanEdge is a joint initiative supported by

a) Department of Science & Technology(Government of India) under its umbrella NIDHI (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations) scheme

b) Shriram Institute-Technology Business Incubator

c) Shriram Institute for Industrial Research

d) Polyplex Corporation Limited

e) Aspirelabs Accelerator is looking for start-up applicants involved in manufacturing across the country. The objective of the programme is to nurture ideas, innovations and business plan into successful business model.

The accelerator is going to run from 25th Jan 2019 till 31st May 2019 at Delhi-NCR. Invitation for participation/Enrolment and Application process is On.

Selected start-ups would get an opportunity to pitch for an investment of up to INR 25 lakhs and 4 months acceleration support under this sustainability startup accelerator program with support of Shriram Institute for Industrial Research – Technology Business Incubator (SRI-TBI), Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, Delhi and Polyplex Corporation Limited, NCR Delhi. Also INR 1 lakhs will be given to selected start-up for prototype development.

Startups with minimum viable product (MVP) or Early stage start-ups with some customer traction / validation and revenue generation.
Start-ups having direct or indirect impact on Triple bottom line:
- Social
- Financial
- Environmental

SALIENT FEATURES

Evaluation of Startups and selection of 15 Startups for the Acceleration Program.
Selected Startups would undergo a four month Accelerator Program.
